StoryMap

What is a StoryMap?

StoryMaps are education and information tools that allow for the presentation of text, images, videos and other graphics into a “place-based story”. StoryMaps can be used to provide users with details about forest stewardship activities and support the information with interactive maps that provide important spatial context about climate-smart forestry management activities. StoryMaps can also connect users with information across landownership types (private, non-profit, public) and with supporting resources.

The Forest Center StoryMap, titled Resilient Woodlands for People and Nature, provides a narrative about the Woodlands Partnership region, the effects of climate change there, and how action on the ground is helping to preserve and protect our valued forested landscapes.
